Construction of the new student housing building continues to advance. Over the past several months, vertical construction has progressed as planned, with most floors of the building's structural framework now in place.
The next major milestone is the installation of the prefabricated facade on all four exterior sides of the building. This work is scheduled to begin in late July 2025 and continue through mid December 2025. The prefabricated facade will be delivered to the job site and installed using the tower crane. To reduce disruption to the area's high volume of daytime pedestrians and vehicles, this type of installation work is typically performed overnight. However, for this project, we have limited the installation work to evening hours in order to minimize impacts on nearby residences and businesses. Letters were mailed to adjacent property owners in May 2025 to inform them of this activity.
All construction activities are being carried out in accordance with the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and other regulatory requirements.
